Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-06-08

Blockzzle (“we”, “our”, “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we use it when you visit blockzzle.com.

You can play Blockzzle without creating an account.

1) What we collect

A. Local game data

Blockzzle stores local game data in your browser using localStorage. This may include best score, today best, games played, last score, best lines, best clear, sound preference, nickname preference, and an anonymous local player id.

You can clear this local data by clearing browser site data for blockzzle.com.

B. Anonymous leaderboard submissions

The anonymous leaderboard is optional. Scores are not submitted automatically.

If you choose to submit a leaderboard score, we store:

  • nickname
  • score
  • lines cleared
  • best clear
  • score tier
  • submission time
  • anonymous browser/player id
  • client/game version
  • approximate gameplay duration, if submitted

The anonymous browser/player id is used to reduce duplicate leaderboard rows, apply basic rate limits, and keep the leaderboard useful. It is not an account.

Public leaderboard entries may show nickname, score, lines, best clear, tier, and submission time or date. We do not publish your anonymous browser/player id.

Leaderboard entries may be hidden or rejected if they appear abusive, impossible, spammy, or offensive.

C. Information we do not require for gameplay or leaderboard use

Blockzzle does not require or store:

  • email
  • password
  • real name
  • payment information

D. Contact messages

If you email us, we will receive the information you include (such as your email address and the contents of your message).

2) How we use information

We use the information to:

  • operate, maintain, and improve Blockzzle
  • show anonymous leaderboard scores you choose to submit
  • reduce duplicate leaderboard rows
  • apply basic leaderboard rate limits
  • detect abuse, spam, impossible scores, and offensive nicknames
  • respond to inquiries and support requests

3) Sharing

We do not sell your personal information.

Leaderboard entries may be displayed publicly using the nickname and score data you submit. We do not publish your anonymous browser/player id.

4) Hosting and security

Blockzzle is hosted on Cloudflare infrastructure. Cloudflare may process requests for hosting, performance, and security purposes.

Blockzzle may contain links to third-party websites. Their privacy practices may differ. Please review their policies before using their services.

6) Children’s privacy

This website is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required by your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
